How To Install a Blogger Template: Upload Blogger Template

A custom blogger template install is very important for your blog. In this article, I am going to show you how to install a blogger template. We all know the blogger is a wonderful platform for creating a unique and free blog site. But this template is not a professional-looking template. We all know that a professional look is very important to impress your viewers. Your blogger professional look helps you to get more organic traffic because all blogger template is SEO ready. In this tutorial, I show you how to download and Install a free professional blogger template.

I show you two ways to Install your template on blogger. If the first way not works then you can try the second way.

1. Download Blogger Template

At the first download a blogger template from any website. I also prefer some best sites to download your blog template.

Click anyone to get a template and click demo to show template style. If you think this template's look is good then you click download and it is also a zip file.

When the download is completed then you right-click on this file and extracted it from the zip file. After extracting you get an XML file.

2. Open Template Section

At login your account and open blogger. Here you can find a dashboard and here have an option 'Theme'.

Click and open it to change your template.

3. Do Backup / Restore

When you click on the 'Theme' option, a new page opens that looks like this. Here you also find an option 'backup/restore' in the right corner.

4. Upload Your XML Template File

I show you two methods to upload your template. If the first option does not work then you used the second option to upload your XML file.

Method 1

When you click the 'backup/restore' option, a new page opens that looks like this. Here you find 'choose file' option. Click it and select your template's XML file.

Select your blogger template XML file that you download to convert your blog to a professional blog. Select it and click 'Enter'.

Start Uploading XML File

After selecting the XML file and click enter you get this type of interface. Here you click the 'upload 'option and your template start to upload.

If you get a successful popup message, that means your template upload successfully completed. And you get this type of interface after template upload.

If you get an error, then you try the second method to upload your template.

Method 2

a) Open Your XML File

Go to your XML file and open it any platform like 'notepad', 'XML pad', 'word pad'.

b) Copy All Code

You also copy all code and go to your blogger dashboard.

c) Edit Html

Here you find the 'Edit Html' option, click it.

d) Pest Your Code

Here you click anywhere and press 'Ctrl+A" then "Ctrl+V" and click 'save theme' option. After doing this your template obviously changes.
